Congtrats Liz!

This is a huge nsv!

I know I was so excited that after the 2nd of surgery my sugar was 103, it usually would be in the 200's without meds. It has been that way ever since!

Yeahhh!!!

Maria, without meds, mine would normally be in the 3-400's unless I had been fasting without insulin. So for me to even be in the high 100's is a great thing. Turns out I do need a bit of help but I believe I can do it with meds alone now not insulin. Calling my pcp today to see what I need to do next.

awesome Liz !!    the changes after surgery for diabetics are HUGE ..i  couldnt believe  i was off all my meds even in the hospital .    That  made it very easy for me ....

Just  dont forget  Ure still a diabetic  .... i do  know some people  who started eating sugar and candy like crazy  cuz they " could "   and  their diabetes came roaring back worse than ever after a while ....

If U continue to eat a " diabetic "  low glycemic diet  though U should  be  great FOREVER ....

sounds  like Ure almost in remission ...

  Congrats    n big hugs
