I'm sure mine's up too but I'm not going to let it bother me because I know it will make it's way down as soon as I stay on track a few days.  Being back to work and not having to leave to run kids around and then grabbing us something quick to eat (all bad memories of how I gained my weight) will get my scale down again.

I bought my shorts and capris to "just fit" last year and I didn't give them any shrinking room but that's not going to happen this year.  I watch my tiny DD's wearing loose clothing and they still look tiny but they also look comfy.  I think that's my goal this year.  I'm not going baggy but I want some room to move. 

I haven't gotten catch up with you.  Are you still on pain meds?  That will take away your appetite.

No - haven't taken any pain meds now for a few days.   I may tonight though - kinda overdid it today... cleaning out closets and taking clothes to the thrift store.... I didn't think too much about it until I reached up to close the hatch on my Trailblazer - and WOW - oh man... I didn't have the strength with my right arm and finally managed with my left.  Yep - I'm swollen tonight...

I also bought "just to fit" last summer.  Wanted the absolutely smallest size I could squeeze into.  Now I may pay for it in having to buy a bigger size.  I know exactly what you mean by being comfy...  I do have a couple of capris that are like that... but the rest.. umm - nope - probably NOT going to work...  things have shifted and moved...

I think I'm going to need a whole new summer wardrobe.....  I'm probably going to still wear 2's but I'm not buying cheap shorts/capris from NY & Company...they looked so good before they shrunk.  I'm going to buy better brand things (I think they run a little bigger) that will still look good after they are washed.

We have to wear Steelers clothes this week and yesterday I borrowed my 11 yr. olds Steeler shirt.  I was walking to the car and she said WOW Grandma you look little...I needed that.  Scales are down 2 today.  I'm not sticking one extra thing in my mouth today!!!

A bit better! I had a rough carb day over the weekend, but in general I'm trying to keep it low. I liked your method of low-carbing all day so that I'm allowed a few at night. I polished off the tortilla chips the other day, so those are out of the house.

Hi, Roz - glad to hear life is returning to normal.  I feel like I just walked into work.   Where did the day go?

I have been feeling a little woozy the last few days.  My PCP is cutting my BP meds in half.  Hopefully, that will do the trick.  It will be a big NSV for me when I can stop taking them altogether!

I am getting ready for the big snow storm, stocking up and rescheduling a few meetings.  The good news is I think I have a handle on a plowing service for Thursday.  My garage is located in the middle of an alley so I am ready to shell out a few bucks to plow me out.   I am hearing anywhere from 10-24 inches by Wednesday afternoon.  I will be ready!!!

Eats so far:

B- protein shake w strawberries (40 g)
S- string cheese (6 g)
L- Shrimp w ****tail sauce (12 g)
S- greek yogurt w SF preserves (18 g)
D-bison burger (12 g)
S- Fudgsicle (4 g)

Miles - 25 minutes on the elliptical and 50 curnches on the ball

We are supposed to be getting ice.  They have already called off all the school activities for this evening and it hasn't even started yet.  Our boss just told us to do our best to getting to work tomorrow but not to take any risks.
