I second all the other suggestions for portable food, but I also wanted to add that I'm so sorry your family is going through this and I am sending you strength. Take good care of yourself!

People have given you very good suggestions, but I just wanted to say that I am so sorry that you are having a difficult time. Carry some food with you, so that you will always have something healthy with you. One less thing to worry about. Even when I go shopping, I carry some healthy snacks with me, such as cheese, veggies, and occasionally, a pure protein bar (small).

I carried a survival bag today and got along great! Looks like we are getting there slowly but surely!

AWESOME!!!  It's packed already for tomorrow too?  ;-)   Big hugs girl, I know how it feels.  There's probably just one set of footprints in the sand though, so relax... you are in good hands and can take care of you without hurting anybody else.

Danielle, I'm so sorry to read about your mother in law.  Everyone has given you great advice so I just want to throw some hugs and critter swinging in the mix as well.  Hang in there and if you need to vent or anything, please do it here with us.

Please take care of yourself to try to keep the fibro at bay.

The NUT at my surgery center is very adamant about making sure you are a priority. She says that when people regain, it's usually because they put themselves on the backburner while dealing with issues with their family or friends. She says that you need to try to at least keep yourself on at least a smaller, side burner so outside forces don't derail you.

Just try to be a priority to yourself!
