What now?!
How can this man of mine be so sweet and then make me absolutely nuts!
We have been fighting for the past 3 days because he wants a new truck. The truck he has is fine. I dont want a bigger payment than we already have.
He is pouting and being very sarcastic. Just being a big pain in the potuttie!
My first thought is I want to eat, but I cant! I feel ill. My best friend is out of town and I am feeling very lonely and I dont know what else!
What have you learned to do, instead of stuffing your emotions with food!
Thanks

Throw and kick things? Actually, I walk, almost like pacing sometimes.

My advice, Maria - get out of the house and get away from the pain in the potuttie for a while. Go do something comforting - a movie, a walk, a cup of coffee over the newspaper, a visit with a friend, a manicure, a bookstore, whatever. Sadly, you cannot control his behavior. You can only control your reaction.

LOL SUE!! Sounds like MY situation! But, I try to make sure it works both ways. LOL We will NEVER be out of debt. That's just the way it is.
When I do get frustrated like Maria is, I either buy something on line and act surprised when the package arrives, take $20 and go buy cute useless knickknacks at a thrift store, or I do what I really should do and I take a pencil and paper and write down what I'm really REEALLY thinking, while pushing REAL hard on the pencil with a sharpener nearby.
Then, I tear it into little pieces and turn it all over to God as I flu**** down the commode.
Good luck sweetie. You're not alone in this one, that's for sure.

I'm sorry, Maria. I think that your noticing your desire to step back into a bad habit is a great sign, though, that your patterns are changing! I hope you feel good about that.
Maybe, if yOu don't already, sharing some aggressive goals toward financial stability is the way to go. Or, you can do what my parents do (and swear by) in completely separating their finances. They say it's the key to their marital bliss.
Prayers for you, Maria!

We seperated finances a long time ago. Doesn't stop some of the disagreements but helps significantly.
I go out side if at all possible. Just being out and getting some fresh air and exercise helps tremendously.

Thanks so much for the advice.
I thought he dropped the idea, but this morning hes right back into the buying mode.
Feeling defeated, but this too shall pass. And the payments will continue to come, I think separating finances would be a good idea.
