Weird

I just had a spell of feeling hot and nauseated and VERY weak. I had not eaten in 3 hrs and last thing I ate was eggs and cheese with picante sauce. I forced myself to drink a bottle of water and rested my head at my desk and am starting to feel a little better. Any ideas what it could be?????

hi there, every now and then I get a tingly flush hot feeling that I attribute to maybe a quick drop in blood pressure....from a sitting for long period to standing rapidly. I do not get the nauseated feeling though but I would think that could happen too...

so my unofficial answer is low blood pressure??
but other culprits could be low sugar levels?? hydration?

Hope it doesn't happen again... ;)

I agree with Diana.  I have Reactive Hypoglycemia and sometimes it takes 2 hours to hit.  But its usually carbs that makes mine act up.

I also agree it could be dehydration - it can do all kinds of things to you.

I think it was dehydration. I am focusing on fluids and starting to feel better and no more nausea.

I get that sometimes too. Dehydration? Reative hypoglycemia? Low BP? Who knows.

It could have been any of the three. Even though you ate good food, it was 3 hours so you still could have had a sugar drop. If you aren't hydrated, that could make your BP drop too. Try drinking more water and eating more requently and see if that helps.
