Intervention
After a month of high stress at work (its settled down), dealing with a deadbeat BF ( i ditched his sorry a$$ for good), finding out that my WLS program has completely shut down and are no longer providing any support in the form of support groups or follow up after care ( I found my surgeon at a new practice 2 hrs away and the new practice will allow me to see him there)---I temporarily lost sight of all of the hard work, sweat and tears that I put forth for the last 20 mths so I am now making a re-commitment to my healthy lifestyle.
My re-commitment will include the following:
drinking my 64 oz of water
focusing on protein first
logging all food in fitday
working out twice a day at the Y
training for an important 5k in June
nourishing my body with high quality foods
taking time out for ME
being thankful for all of my blessings in life because...GOD has been good to me
not settling for men who simply want a trophy gf
relaxing on Sundays and being ok with spending the day in bed with my protein coffee and trash tv and not feeling mentally guilty for it
I'm sure the list is longer but I will stop here for now. I will make mini action plans weekly to meet these goals in order to be successful and to create sustainable lifestyle changes.
Anyone on board with me?
Congrats on taking control of your life back!

Awesome Janet!! --but your list can be whatever you want it to be! It certainly doesn't have to resemble mine at all!!! I'm just seeing who is on board to re-commit to a healthy lifestyle! I do this periodically because it allows me to stay focused and maintain my loss! You can make up your own list and celebrate your sustainable lifestyle changes! Best wishes!

EXERCISE!!!
I know if I plan full blown, I won't do it. So, my committment is this: 3 days a week of 20 minutes of deliberate movement.
As I get there, I will add more. But, for me, this is as big as winning the lottery. I hate exercise and will do anything I can to avoid it. But, I need to do it. I need muscle tone & I need to be healthier - WLS is more than just looks. Right?
So, hold me to this!!!!!!
