home From Surgery!
Hi All! Just want to let everyone know that I am through with surgery and back home. Now I am working full time at getting liquids and protein..oh, between naps! Having a hard time finding a comfortable place to sleep..from bed (propped up) and my Lay Z Girl..hope it gets better pretty quick. I am sure somebody knows..can I make up an 8oz bottle of unjury and keep it in the fridge for the next morning? Want to make sure the protein doesn't degrade. Well, thanks for all your good thoughts...can't wait to start feeling better and start working this new life!

Welcome home and back to the board. The only caution my doctor gave was to not leave protein drinks unrefrigerated for more than two hours.
I had a drain and couldn't sleep on my side or stomach, which I prefer. I surrounded myself with pillows, so I couldn't flip over. I also took my liquid pain meds right before I tried to sleep. They seemed to have a knock out component that helped me get to sleep.

Welcome home, I know you are glad to be home.
I did discover that my Pre-op way of making shakes with milk was a no go post-op, seems I'm lactous intolerant.
But I made one this morning and left it in the fridge for several hours before I was ready to tackle it.
