Hi Everyone!  Time for the weekly fashion post...

My DD and I went shopping yesterday - I was feeling pretty good.

Scored some very good deals on the clearance rack at Penneys - they had all these shirts for $4.97.  From short sleeved t's to sweaters.

Marshalls - bought a sherpa lined fleece jacket for $15 - in a periwinkle blue.  I ended up buying a size large because I had a sweater on - and I wanted a little extra room.

Tomorrow night BF and I are going to a work function (his).  I get to dress up - YEA!  Now I have to try on all my dresses and see which ones fit... yea... I'm a bit worried about it.  I need one that doesn't show any cleavage, seems my post-surgical bra isn't exactly the sexiest thing you've seen - LOL.  Need a higher neckline - I may have a few that will work.

Anyone else have any luck shopping?

Sounds like a fun day and some great deals, I will have to check out my Penny's and see what they have to offer, I would love to see a pic of the jacket sounds cute!  I am waiting to shop till March DH and I are going to Mexico for a week and I want to see if I can get down a size before I invest in anything new.

Not a single trip to the store this week - BUT - DD handed over a wonderful off-the-shoulder cowl sweater in raspberry pink that doesn't suit her current body shape, and looks fabulous on me! So I guess it counts!

(I do need to hit goodwill soon: I put on my khakis yesterday, and they were too doggone big in the waist. Not pretty.)

No shopping here but I spent the evening trying on things to pack for my trip tomorrow.  The size 10 outfit I bought (99.00, paid 12) will fit ok without the spandex.  Not like I can wear any other 10s but I'll take it.  2 sweaters I picked up at Thrift stores now fit so they went in the bag.  I'm in between sizes in pants so I opted for the looser ones to travel in and sit in meetings.  The black shoes I was planning (don't have anything else) now only really fits with wool sock.  Should be interesting in the knee highs for the banquet.  Pray I don't fall out of my shoes.  There will be a lot of folks I haven't seen since surgery, some I saw in Oct, about 2 months out.  Can't wait to see the reactions.

Warm, well no.  Going to Nashville to United States Pony Club Annual Meeting.  Warm would be nice though.

My shoes are too large and I have to wear 2 pairs of socks, so that they don't slip off. They are fairly new and I would like to get more wear from them, before I discard them.  Congratulations on smaller feet!

Sounds like quite the score, Jody.  I made my first foray to Salvation Army last week based on advice from many of you.  Wow- what an experience!   It was hard to stay focused with the sizes all mixed up but I found some great deals.  Today I wore some killer black knit slacks from Coldwater Creek (perfect with my red sweater jacket).  I paid $4.97 for them - such a deal!

I plan to check out Kohl's at some point.  A colleague told me if had great deals.

Went to Ross today and had very good luck, a lot on the clearance racks right now.  3 pair of jeans size 8 :) 2 shirts (med), a bathing suit (med), and a jacket for under 90 dollars, Yeah!  I couldn't believe it, Calvin Klein jeans for $8.97.

Daughter & I went shopping over the weekend.  I hit the clearance section at American Eagle & Aeropostale.  My daughter loves shopping there!  In the past when we would go there, I would just sorta walk thru the store with her & dream about wearing those sizes.  Well this trip I had a blast looking, trying on, and buying clothes!!!    Cindy
