Sorry, I haven't answered any of your posts...I will I promise...so keep posting!!!!  I think my DD#3 and Beautiful new DGD gets out of the hospital tomorrow so the older 2 DGD's will be going home.  It's been nice spending time with them but even though they get to visit the hospital they really miss their Mom.  Next week I'll be spending time at their house to help with the Day Care Kids.  That should be fun...NOT!!

Writing everything down has helped me so much!!! I would really like to see some more posters.  Seeing what is working for others helps the rest of us put some variety into our meals.   It's very important until you reach Goal to figure out your Calories, Fats, Carbs, and Proteins so that you know what your body needs to lose and then to maintain!!!!

800 calories scares you, Rebecca?  Now that scares me!  :)  I typically between 800 and 900.  How many calories are we supposed to be eating?  My goal has been to stay under 1000.

Yeah my nutritional guide line says I should be around 800 but it just seems like a lot since I'm constantly full! I guess that means it's working haha. I've been around 6-700 but I wasn't losing so much...I'm just afraid of gaining

Today I am doing shakes only~ trying to shake up my scale a bit. Lots of H2O in between the shakes.

PB: 2 scoops Click w/ 8oz NSA vanilla soy milk, 4oz water  15g + 7 = 22
B:   1 scoop About Time vanilla (0carb) w/ 8oz NSA soy milk 4 oz water 24g +7 = 31
L:   2 scoop About Time choc mint (0carb) w/ 8 oz NSA choc soy milk 3oz water 48g +7 = 55
S:   Shake  TBD later
D:   Shake  TBD later

Vits: set out and ready for the day
Water goal 100oz
Miles: walk to/from school to pick up son and friend

HI Roz and all.  Well - I got on the scale at BF's house.  It read 138... really... now - its not digital and I've never liked it, but it was a lot closer before.  I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning to see what mine says.  I'd like to think I'm still holding water... but... clothes are fitting tighter, and yes, Dr put 2 lbs of saline in me... but still..  Something I was discussing with BF was, I had been upping my shakes big time both before and after surgery but wasn't really reducing the amount of calories from my food.  Calories are Calories and i really couldn't afford to increase them as much as I did... wonder if that is where it came from?

I've been real tired and nauseated today.  Not much going down.  And I haven't poo'd in 4 days.

B - coffee
L - 1 chicken tender
S - 1/2 peanut butter sandwich
D - may be going to a banquet

If you increase the protein shakes, you gotta decrease the food if you're trying to lose. The protein shakes just make it easier to cut back on the food.

Your guts are probably still just waking up from the anesthesia. They told me to take stool softeners often when I got home from having the hysti.

I hope you feel better soonest.
