So here I sit....waiting....to hear from the insurance regarding my VSG. I feel like I am going crazy with anxiety. I need an answer....preferably a positive one!
I know it is completely out of my hands and beyond my control at this point but I think I HATE that feeling! LOL
Anyhoo....just need to vent so thanks for listening! :-p

Good luck. I hope you hear soon.  I was told it could take a month to hear back if I was approved or not thankfully it only took a few days. I found out Tuesday i was approved and my surgery is March 14th so hears to quick approval for you.

Best of luck with the waiting - I know that once I was told it had been submitted, I had to have friends monitor me at work to be sure I wasn't calling more than once a week to check on it!

Fortunately, my approval only took one week - otherwise I might have harmed somebody!

LOL, Yeah, waiting on insurance approval is probably the absolute worse part of the process. Liz

Waiting is the hardest part. I called the insurance company daily to see if there was an update or not. And the 1 week and 5 days mine took it felt like a life time. But when I got the answer in I was so over come with excitement!

It will happen for ya. Lets hope for a quick and fast approval!

I called everyday.  I became a pretty good friend to the customer service rep.  She got so tired of me calling she walked it through.  Your surgery will be here before you know it.

Hope your answer is positive and comes quickly:)  Do you have any idea how long it typically takes your insurance?

Hang in there!  Stay busy!  My insurance coordinator told me it would take 2 weeks after submission but I got the "go ahead" in three days!   I know everything will go your way....
it's SO-OOO worth the wait!

Thanks so much for the encouragement! I was told that they technically have 30 days to respond but the surgeon's office manager said they usually hear back in about 2 weeks. She said I would probably get a letter before they are notified...so of course, I am obsessively checking the mail every day! LOL I will keep you posted as soon as I know something.
I'm so glad that we are all in this together!
