Last week I recieved a yahoo IM from a guy I had met off Match.  We chatted for several months before we finally met.  He seemed very excited to meet me and very pleased with what he saw as well.  So imagine my surprise when I never heard from him again!  I happened to be busy working when his IM came through and he was offline when I finally got back........the IM said one thing......"Hi....."

So this morning I messaged him on Match and asked him why he dropped off the face of the earth and told him I was really hurt by his lack of explaination.......so today I get that explaination.....apparently he "didn't mean to drop off"....but.....he "thought long and hard about things and having another child is something he wants" and I don't....

I honestly don't remember having an indepth conversation with him about it but this was his exact reply to my email back where I stated I would have a child with a man I was married to if he REALLY wanted one and with having to baby daddys who want nothing to do with thier kids he should understand why I'm a little gun shy...

" We did talk about it. And you said you didn't because you had two baby dads.  I share joint physical and legal custody of my only two kids.  proof that not all men run.  You said in time if a man really wanted to you might consider it.  Well I wanted
and needed a stronger answer.  I've truly thought about what I want and need and one more child is a sure thing for me.

WTH.......I guess he wanted me to say ........ohhh yes I'll have your baby........LOL  It's too bad cuz I really like this guy and he totally dropped me because of one word......CONSIDER.....I guess I think of that word differently than he does.......apparently he wanted me to say Yes I'd have your baby.....How can I know that until I see him with his kids and my kids????

Men frustrate me!

On a good note.......I posted on a daily question one of the local TV channels has on thier FB page about how I deal with SAD.......and there was a man who liked my comment and sent me a PM asking if he could say hi........LOL  I checked out his pic and hes super cute!  He's not exactly someone I think my parents would want me to bring home but I've obviously never cared about that......LOL  I was the first person in the town I graduated from to date a black man.......LOL  He is an Iraqi refugee who worked as an interpreter for the US military and when alqiada found out he was they threatened to kill him so left Iraq.  He has a video of him and an Iraq war veteran explaining his journey to the US that was filmed by a FL TV station.  He works the night shift just like me...he works out HARDCORE everyday, and he seems really sweet!  We are going to meet for coffee this week before work one night.

Well, clearly he wasn't the ONE!! LOL

You should have said..."Um, that was the OTHER heather...you must have me confused with someone else..."

Or - better yet, you should have said YOU decide when YOU have babeees since YOU incubate the critters on whose seed is accepted.... and buddy its not you...

I hope the local guy is a good one to chat with. You will have to give us all the details missy,...got it!

Heather - sorry this happened to you.  But - I find this a very common occurrence.  I've had it happen to me too... several times.

Just can't question it or tryto analyze it - you'll go nuts if you do!

 Hi Heather, sorry about the first guy the on-line dating thing can be tough sometimes and that is just weird that having another child seems like his main focus, just kinda strange, you don't deserve someone like that. You deserve the best!!!

The second guy sounds a strong possibility and a true hero to risk his life for our country. I hope you both hit it off and you never know he may be the love of your life. Anything is possible! (you'll have to tell Jason Derusha thank you for the match making forum) Let us know how coffee goes! I can't wait to hear. 

Also, i am sorry I haven't called you the past week has been pretty rough and I am just starting to pull myself together enough to talk. I haven't even talked to my mom on the phone since the IVF went down hill, but that is another whole problem I am dealing with. I am doing okay and I still really want to do lunch soon. I work tuedays and wednesday evenings and every third weekend. Otherwise I am pretty open and I actually want to look around at Albertville so I don't mind driving up closer to you. So think about when might be good for you!
