Update on restarting surgery process - any suggestions???
Hi,
I just got off the phone with the insurance person. Everything is fine - BUT - they may have to use my weight as it was 3/1 when I first went there. Yikes! The doctor had wanted me to lose 15# prior to surgery, my BMI 3/1 was 41 (I really worked hard for that too!), now I am just under 40 - probably 39. They will weigh me in two days - the first time they weighed me I wore very heavy clothes, boots, had my cell phone in my pocket, etc. I think I will wear heavy clothes, etc again. Luckily for my health, I have no co-mobidities.
Any other ideas???
Actually - I just got on home scale and think I will be OK without doing anything!!!
Thanks again for all the nice support on this board. :)

Drink lots of water and don't pee until after you weigh.
Best of luck.

Thanks for the suggestions!
I am getting so excited! The earliest any surgery would happen would be May - probably end of it according to doctor's office.
I figure if I lose weight by then I win, and if not and get the surgery I still win. I could just kick myself for not keeping with the program last year. The one thing I am glad about is now my insurance covers the sleeve which is what I want so I guess it was meant to be.
