GETTING ORGANIZED
Being Organized is one of the most Important things that leads to being Successful!!! I don't know about you but not being organized, not planning, and eating "fast food" were some of the main reasons that I was overweight. Whatever was the quickest simplest thing was what went into my mouth.
I found out after WLS that I hadn't changed much so I needed to make my Protein extremely accessible. At the beginning it wasn't hard going to the Pantry to get a scoop of Protein but as time went on it got to be much easier to grab something that was "convenient or in sight".
For Christmas I asked my DD for canisters for my Protein. I wanted something see through, something easy to open/close and something that would hold a whole container of Protein. She did a Great Job picking these out and I am actually drinking more protein now than I did before.
The Pink Container in the 2nd picture is what I use on a daily basis to take protein to work or in the car. It is a baby formula container. It holds four 1 scoop servings.
WHAT DO YOU USE TO STAY ORGANIZED????
XOX CONTAINERS SIZE 2.4 AND 1.5 THE LARGE HOLDS 1 TUB OF PROTEIN AND THE SMALL HOLDS 4 BOXES OF CRYSTAL LITE.

I also bought some of the formula container, I bought 2 but find I don't use them. I have one at work with some chocolate protein in it and one at home. I tend to premix my protein in my shaker cup and take it to work with me. We have a refrigerator in the office and that works out well.
Its so much more convenient having the canisters on the cupboard - it keeps it within reach and its not "out of sight - out of mind".
Now Vitamins - I have a low shelf dedicated ONLY to vitamins (I can do this cause I'm single - LOL). Early out I used a vitamin "day of the week" organizer and got away from it. Each morning I was having to pull pills, etc out of individual containers and found it was taking me 5 minutes in the morning to do all that. I bought some new ones, and they split apart - so I prepackage them up at the beginning of the week then just throw the "day of the week" into my purse take it to work with me - saves me a LOT of time.
On the way to my DD's today BF and I were talking about vitamins. I only brought enough to get me through Wednesday, when he'll pick me up and take me home. BUT - when I got to his house for a night or more I always have to remember grabbing my vits. I do have ane extra B complex and Milk Thistle there (liquid), but none of my regular ones. I also have protein at his place. I have the original "day of the week" vitamin holder I'm going to fill up and take to his place - that way if theres an unscheduled visit or stay, I'm covered! If I had thought about that before coming to my DD's I may have brought extras in case I stayed longer....

I always hated the canisters that I put flour, sugar, etc. in because I never new what I was getting low on. I love these see through ones! They are also super easy to open because they have a pop up top that you only have to touch.
I use my formula container all of the time. I never let my protein sit very long after I mix it. I don't like it after it settles or gets warm. I load it up with crushed ice and drink it until it's gone.
I have been fighting my DH for a couple of years now to use a pill container because he forgets if he took them or not. I made him use one last weekend when we went away and he finally agreed it would be easier! I'm going to pick him up an AM/PM container tomorrow before he changes his mind.
