Gluten-free keeps the gas down. For some reason gluten seems to really set some malabsorbers off.

Most of the gluten-free breads and crackers are carby (complex carbs) and you have to kind of plan ahead for them in your daily or weekly carb counts. Man, I wish they'd had these great tasting alternatives when I was a kid suffering with Celiac! Maybe I wouldnt have been so tempted to eat stuff I wasn't supposed to eat or felt to much anger about not being allowed to eat good stuff. This was the 50's, 60's and 70', so they've made big strides since then.

So after being 3 lbs up for absolutely no reason today, I am keeping on keeping on.  I know I haven't done anything to cause it.

Roz, I don't think gluten free is necessarily "better'..I have to eat gluten free due to a sensitivity and actually a lot of times the flour can have more calories..gotta be careful with that.

Chili (20)
Snack: yogurt (12)

I completely understand...not how you could be up 3 lbs. but because I've experience it to.   It will probably come off as quick as it showed up.
