Our newest daily thread.......MORNING COFFEE!

Hi Wendy,

Most of us get to long eventually.  You're not alone and we all say it.  :)     I find Ross to be too overwhelming.  Target is good as well, but I've never found anything that works for me.  I like Vanity Fair and Bali and Olga at this point.  If you find a bra with just a little lining, it will help you keep your shape as you change. I have one that's great under Tshirts because the way it's built keeps me looking like I fill it out perfectly.

Look for the Olga 35417.  I'm a 36DDD in some bras but a 36DD in this one.  I really like it.  With the 36 I use the middle set of hooks so I still have 1 more before I have to go to 34.  I'm small under my braline at only 30 inches.  I'm not sure where the heck I'll end up.

Kohl's is having a sale right now.  Lot's of the $32 bras are $11.99.  I may need to get in on that sale as well.

Do you work on Sunday?

Yes, work today. Glad to be back so I can meet more more people, but you are the most fun person I have met working there.

I will bra shop this week. It's getting ridiculous.

Glad you explained your avatar change, because I was confused. The one you usually have is perfect, captures you just right. I haven't slowed yet, but I'm sure I will. Plan to keep one of my favorites pairs of Lands' End pants and hold them up once in a while.

Have a good week!

Wendy, I'm sitting here laughing.  If I'm the most fun person you've met at work, you have a boring work life!  I'm so happy that I met you as well.

When I was still losing I bought my bras off the clearance racks......I never seemed to stay in them for very long......LOL

And I am a caffine girl!  I work overnights and NEED my caffine as I only get about 4 hours of sleep a day.....LOL

Wendy - I drink regular coffee now, but drank decaf for close to a year after surgery.  As far as protein powders go, I like lattes, so I mix some chocolate protein in with my coffee.  I also like to put some sF syrups in with it too - depending on my mood.  I also have the choc/mint Roz discovered and its  great in coffee.

Now  if you're going to make protein coffee, make sure your coffee us UNDER 130-135 degrees before you mix your protein.  OR you can mix your protein with some milk like a slurry then add hot coffee.  If you don't - it'll get real nasty.

Great idea for a daily thread.

My girls are getting smaller too.  My bras are getting emptier and emptier, but it means that I am losing fat, so that is the positive aspect-the only positive one. I'm going to have to break down and buy some new ones pretty soon, but will I have anything left to fill them up?

Nice thread. Decaf here. I used to be addicted to caffiene but I found after surgery that it makes me anxious so I gave it up. Almost had some today but decided not to.
I have been feeling a lot better. I feel like my old self again. I have been getting out and seeing old friends. I had a bunch of lab work done the other day and I am curious to see how I am doing. I actually have hope that I may get over this fatigue that has been plaguing me. I was looking at my online records and I noticed that I was diagnosed with fatigue in 2008. I didn't think it was until 2009 that it started getting bad. This is the longest I have gone feeling good. Usually I feel good for a day or two at the most. I have gotten my hopes up in the past that I was getting better so I guess I'll just have to see.
Today I saw someone that I haven't seen in a while and he was saying how thin I was. He said I looked very skinny. This surprised me for 2 reasons. I didn't think I was that big the last time I saw him and I don't see myself as skinny by any means. Even though I am six pounds from goal it is a high goal. It puts me at a normal BMI which is all I could ever ask for but I don't plan on making any changes in my eating. I have gotten as low as 120 lbs with my first WLS but that seemed pretty thin to me. Maybe if I stayed there for more then 2 minutes I might have leveled out.

I hope your energy comes back.  Feeling fatigued is the worst!

I bet you do look skinny to everyone but yourself!    :)

Great idea for a new thread!  I was just thinking the other day that I really need to get myself to Victoria's Secret and get measured for bras.  Am I the only one who gets a bit intimidated by Victoria's Secret?  I have this irrational fear that someone is going to come up to me and tell me I don't belong there!  I bought some bras from Kohl's a few months ago that I really like.  They have little "air mattresses" in them to help take up some room and plump the girls up, but I noticed the other day that even with the air mattresses the cups are getting too big.  It kind of freaks me out that I may have to go down a cup size.  I've always been a C cup.  Que Sera, Sera...it still beats being 100+ pounds overweight.
