Gina's thread has inspired me to create a new daily thread. I commented earlier that coming to the lightweight board feels like I'm sitting in my local cafe having morning coffee with my girl friends and chatting about life. So the theme of this thread is to talk about life! You know those little things you may not feel like starting a thread about but you just have to tell someone?? Those are the thoughts I want to read. I think it will give us a chance to get to know eachother even better! So who wants to join me for Morning Coffee??

I'll start!

So this whole belly dancing thing has me missing my exchange student I hosted 6 years ago. Her name is Gamze and she is from Turkey. As I surf the internet looking at dance costumes I keep running accross the Turkish costumes which in turn gets me to thinking about her. I'm excited because she will be graduating from University this spring and is planning on visiting for a couple of weeks.....I miss her soooooo much.

Heather - what a great idea! There have been many times I've wanted to say or share something, but didn't think it was significant enough to start a thread for.

Hmmm lets see. I think I got out most of what I wanted to say in my "About me update"... LOL...

Surgery on Monday - I'm getting excited! Then last night the BF's boss asked if we could go to a black tie affair on Thursday night... hmmm... I'd love to, but if I have drains, I won't be able to wear a cute little dress and hide the damn things...

When I went for my consult I asked about drains, and he said "maybe, maybe not". So I'm going to ask him if there is ANY way he can make it work to NOT have them I'd be forever in his debt - LOL.

Its rare I get to dress up and go out - and I WANT too! I think I'll be feeling ok enough for a few hours out. Maybe it'll be just what the Dr ordered!

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it. Took 8 months.
90+/- pounds lost BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

He's an IT guy and had to go to work today, so no date. This is the second week in a row. i told him it feels like "he's not really that into getting together". He promised he would see me on Friday night unless he's dead. Hard to believe I'm giving him another chance except that he's a nice guy and seems sincere enough.
