Good Morning. What makes us different?
Well, there are some really good answers above. I think back to the day I found this board and could have almost CRIED with happiness. I was jumping those dang hoops on my way toward WLS and felt so vulnerable, scared and like a "freak".
I recognised I needed help in my weightloss fight and had tried and failed so many times (Like all of you did too), and yet my BMI of approx. 38 made me feel like I didn't DESERVE to have WLS. I knew I would battle the "You're not BIG enough" comments in my small town and I felt.... ALONE.
When I found this specific site, I found a family that is just like me!!!! A place where I fit in and RELATE to all of you. I tend to lurk a lot but am always here. I really enjoy this forum's light nature. You girls ROCK!!!!!
