42 Hours! Get ready to scoot over!

Jeannie and Joanne - congratulations on your Monday surgeries!  How exciting!

Jeannie - my PS is scheduled for Monday.  I see you are from Michigan.  Where at?  My surgery will be in Novi.  Where will you be?

I was supposed to have my surgery on the 18th, but they had to reschedule because the anesthesia machine broke.  BUT - I got sick the week before and it really was a good thing it was postponed.  Now - this is the FIRST time since WLS I've been sick, and I've been thinking about why it happened now.

My only thought is I was taking Dry D3 forever.  My labs were high so I stopped it for awhile. Even though my reserves are probably very good, I wasn't getting "fresh" doses.   Its been shown in studies that D can keep you from getting sick.  I'm almost a believer in that!!

 Best of luck on all of your surgeries, Jeannie, Joanne and Jody. I'll be swinging lots of lizards and sending lots of good thoughts too!!!

Thanks for all the good thoughts everyone.  Jody, I am in Kalamazoo..I just had my labs done and I know I am low in Vit D and B12...I have ordered both from Vitalady and will begin really trying to get my numbers up..I am getting so much good information from everybody on this site..it shouldn't take me too long to get a handle on the whole vitamin thing...but I wish I would have
started sooner!  Hope all of us have sucessful surgeries int the coming days!
