42 Hours! Get ready to scoot over!
Wow! All of a sudden I have only 42 hours left to wait until my surgery! It felt like it would never get here...and now it's almost time to pack and get ready to go! I have been stressing out because I have had to deal with so many sick people at work this week...I ended up wearing a mask a lot..some people thought I was overdoing it..but this morning I woke up with a bit of a scratchy throat!! I hope I don't have to be rescheduled...I have already done this 2 week liquid fast and HATE the thought of having to start over! I am just drinking lots of fluids and resting and hoping I have just psyched my crazy self into this! (I feel fine otherwise)..I need your good thoughts! Thanks!

I am counting the hours too and starting to make a list of the items I want to bring with me to the hospital. I have to admit that I have been terrified of getting sick too. My husband had a cold last week and I wouldn't let him get near me, no hugs or kisses. I am fearful of not only having to reschedule the surgery, but also of coughing post-operatively. I am sending healthy thoughts your way. I have loaded up on vitamen C, might not be a bad idea.
What time are you scheduled to be at the hospital? I'm sceduled for Monday as well, have to be there at 6:30AM ET/surgery is at 8:30AM ET. I've been doing laundry, got my vitamins all ready for the month, and packed my bag. Still have to put my laptop/iPad in there (along with assorted cords) but I'm pretty much done.
STAY WELL, keep taking the vit C and take some Airborne as well between now and Mon. Drink chicken broth too.It can't hurt. And gargle with sal****er.

Glad you got an earlier slot.
I'm diabetic, we usually get the earliest time slots for surgeries. They don't want us to crash from fasting, LOL
