If they were playing soccer outside...I wouldn't be there watching...LOL

My DD#3 just called me.  Someone broke into their car outside the restuarant they were at.  Stole an envelope with her pay stubs in it.  That means her SS # and our address....She can't think of anything else that was taken.

Good Menu!!!

Once again, I am starting the day with a little misadventure with my protein shake. I am only losing a little bit butI hope my vitamins are staying down! Roz, you asked how often this happens. I'd say a few times a week. Again, it is only a little amount and then I am fine can drink the rest without problems.

I am off to brave the frozen tundra for my first session with the trainer this morning. Wish me luck!

Eats today:

B- protein drink (40 g)
S- greek yogurt with SF preserves (18 g)
L- chili (10 g)
S- reduced fat brie with 4 tiny wafer type crackers (7 g)
D- ??? probably shrimp
S- SF pudding (2 g)

Enjoy the day!

Amy - can if you drink something else first thing in the morning (small sips) do you tend to lose it too, or is it just the protein shake?

Just the protein shakes, Jody.  I seem fine with other liquids.  Of course, they are less dense.

Have you tried a warm one instead of cold?  A hot chocolate or protein decaf.

No, Price, but that is a great suggestion.  Do you have a recommendation?  I should try them out.  Thanks!

I mix a swiss miss diet hot chocolate, 25 cal kind, with a little warm water and a scoop of whatever chocolate protein I had.  Heat 6 or so oz of water in microwave and add the chocolate mix to it.

I use brewed decaf and heat it if needed.  You can also use instant decaf.  Mix your slurry of protein and water, just a few ounces and add to the hot decaf.  I use vanilla with a sprinkle of cinnamon these days but in the past have also used Nectar Latte.  You can also use chocolate protein and if you look on Meals and Menues, you will see lots of folks use other things, like cookies and cream.

Ava makes a protein tea that everyone seems to like also.  I have made the Nectar Lemon tea hot and like it hot or cold.  I'm just on a chocolate kick right now.

Sounds good, Price.  I will try the hot chocolate tomorrow.  Perfect for a freezing day in Chicago. Thanks.
