Now, what I do with greek yogurt

I have several uses for greek yogurt...

I use it as either a prime source of protein OR as a condiment that offers a low fat high protein alternative.

High Protein Dippity Dip

Veggie dip

1/2 cup of greek yogurt (11.5 g & 65 calories)
1 wedge of laughing cow lite cheese (2g & 35 cal)
comes in lots of flavors like
    blue cheese
    sun dried tomato basil
    swiss
whip both until creamy (helps if wedge is room temp)

Add spices to your liking such as
    dried ranch dressing seasoning
    any ms. dash flavor
    hot sauce
    ketchup

the possibilities are endless...

Serve with dippable veggies AND dip liberally!!! I like to polish off the serving of dip...

Fruity Protein Dippity Dip

1/2 cup greek yogurt
sploosh (yes, official phrase....lol) of sugar free torani syrup
    vanilla
    caramel
    toffee
1-2 tspn SF Instant vanilla pudding mix
       OR
1 tblspn of PB2 or peanut flour

Blend until smooth. You may have to add more syrup or even a titch of water to dilute if it is too thick...

Add cinnamon or nutmeg to enhance some flavors

Again...dip bananas, apples, berries...yummo!! Dip liberally Or hell, just eat by the spoonful itself...who needs fruit...lol

Shakes

1/2 cup of greek yogurt
1 scoop protein powder
2-4 oz water
1 tblspn of any flavor of SF Instant  pudding mix
(optional - add frozen fruit...fresh fruit)
2 ice cubes

Blend in blender (see prior cottage cheese post...) and top with whipped cream and enjoy!!

Other uses....

Use dip recipe above for sammy spreads.
Use plain greek yogurt in place of sour cream for chilis or tacos etc

Ok...that's all I can think of for now. I'll post more if I can remember any...

Mock pudding

1/2 cup of greek yogurt

AND....drum roll for my new FAVORITE!!!

Mock Banana Cream Pie!!

1/2 cup of greek yogurt
1 tablespoon of cheesecake sf instant pudding
1 sploosh of SF Toffee Torani syrup
1/2 sliced banana

Blend the yogurt, pudding mix, and syrup until real smooth and creamy. Then slice up some bananas...sprinkle with lemon juice. Add bananas to pudding mixture and slowly fold in.

Thanks for the recipes!  These sound so good.  I can't wait to try these.  I use to make a curry dip that I really liked and I think I'll try to work it into the yogurt and cheese.  I used to make it with mayo before WLS.  I love to try new recipes.

Thanks, Diana and Brenda. Yum! I love greek yogurt. My favorite is to mix it with SF cherry preserves and a little sweetener. Sometimes I add a couple of squirts of SF vanilla syrup. Heaven!

I usually dump a splenda into my greek yogurt - - makes it taste like pinkberry!
