I am saying a prayer and swinging lizards for you! I would give you any and all eggs, although right now I am having hormonal issues and might not have good eggs either.

Amy, I hope it all works out for you and you don't have to start all over again.

Good luck.  I'll be thinking about you.

1.)   What kitchen gadgets do you use on a regular basis?

I don't use many gadgets, pretty old fashioned in the kitchen, plus I cook for 5 every day so it's mainly pots and pans. I love to cook and do it a lot, sometimes I have cooking marathons and freeze meals ahead. I guess the food processor is my favorite "gadget". I make mashed cauliflower, cauliflower "rice", etc. a lot.

2.)  victories/challenges this past week?

Victory-I had been up to 102 pounds and I don't like to go over 100, and I got those pounds off!

Challenge-I finished my math mini-mester this week (I take the final Tuesday), and started the Spring semester. I only go to school 3 days a week, but 2 of the days are long (9-5:15) and I only have 1 break. Two of the classes are sciences with back to back lecture and lab. We are not allowed to eat or drink in class because they are held in a lab. So mix that with staying up until midnight trying to finish my math (when I usually go to bed at 8), unable to wake up early enough to work out, a kid with strep, dental issues, etc. it was a loooong week. I'm down to 94 pounds, and exhausted.

3.)  Plans for the weekend?

Friday-I'm not even getting dressed. I'm paying bills, doing a few things around the house, and relaxing!
Saturday-Doing my weekly Saturday shopping (errands) with my mom, dropping all of the kids off with my dad and stepmom for an overnight, and DH and I are going to rent movies and make home-made seafood pizza!
Sunday-homework, house cleaning, and hopefully more relaxing

 1. A shaker with a metal ball, instant read thermometer, Vita-Mix (left over from when I tried eating raw foods), paring knife to cut fruit into tiny pieces, measuring cups, and scale. I use Rubbermaid containers since I now get four meals from a can of soup, but need to find some very small ones. Any suggestions where to find?

2. Big victory, passed halfway mark to goal. Challenge is always getting in more exercise.

3. Second week back to work. I am happy to return. I only work weekends. Since it is retail I like how busy we get, so time flies.

You can buy very small ziploc containers. The kind that you can keep and re-wash or throw away. I just bought 8 for a couple of bucks in the rubbermaid/tupperware aisle at Walmart. They are very handy.

I have some small Glad or Ziploc 4 or 6 oz containers that I bought at the grocery store. Also, check Target and Walmart.

Rubbermaid makes Easy Find containers that come in a very small size - I use them for a scoop of protein, or for 2 oz of grapes.  They're the ones with olives in them in this picture (sorry - couldn't find one of them alone).  Walmart and Target both carry them, as do the grocery stores in this area.
