I am exhausted
I really think I started feeling good when my D3 level got up. Maybe it was coincidental, but I think the D3 really made a difference.

I have no clue if I am eating enough calories and I am trying to figure out how to increase the amount that I do eat. I log sporadically and need to get better at it.
Iron could very well be low, just looked at my last labs and it was 60. Maybe Dr will check it tomorrow
Depression is always a possible for me but I am not showing any of the other symptoms that I experience when I get in a blue mood.
Was told borderline for possible Sleep apnea but the test was incorrect and told me not to worry about it. They tested with an oxygen sensor on my finger and that thing hurt like crazy, was awake all night!!

Start logging your foods on a daily basis. Are you getting enough fluids? Do you have a dietitian to talk to? If you have a food log, he/she could help you to improve any areas that might need some help. The dietician can also help you to increase the amount that you do eat, if that is what needs to be done. I weigh and measure all my food, and use an online tracking tool. Those two things keep me on the right path and help me to reach my protein, fluid, carb, and fat goals.
Iron level of 60 isn't too bad. Mine was down to 11, when I started receiving iron infusions.
Glad to hear that you will have some labs drawn tomorrown. Take vitamin D3 and B12.

Stacey - is it a DRY D3 that you're taking? D2 won't convert to D3 for us anymore, thus the Dry D3. I buy mine from vitalady.
I'm tired lately too - but I live where the sun doesn't shine in the winter. Usually it doesn't bother me too much, but lately I've been tired too.

I woudn't count on it. I bought some from GNC and Vitamin World then realized they were the wrong kind - they're oil based. Are they like a capsule with oil?

I am only 7 weeks and definitely know what you mean about feeling tired. I have never looked forward to going to bed that I have in the last couple of months!
It would be great if you could up your proteins. I was told no less than 80 gs but I try to shoot for closer to 100. It does require that I do one protein drink a day. Also, you might want to join the menus and miles thread that is posted by Roz every day. It helps me make sure I've got my act together in terms of food, and it is a friendly check in .
Are you drinking enough liquids. Sometimes when I get the slumps at work, I get something to sip and get a second (or twentieth) wind.
Good luck,
Amy

I'm with Gina on this one...Dr. Gina gave you lots of good standards...
With that, I want to address the protein powder thing. I have found the great use of cottage cheese and greek yogurt. They pack a great high punch of protein. For a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, it has on average 12 g of protein. 1/2 cup greek yogurt has on average 11g...
I make my shakes with these 2...and omg are they creamy and good.
I have lots of ideas on how to use both the cottage cheese and the yogurt so if you want, i can send them your way...even if you don't like cottage cheese, i bet i got some ideas on that.
If you keep up on your current routine AND add 1-2 servings additional of another high protein food...you can easily boost another 20g...without adding more protein powder...
Can you do protein bars?
