I am exhausted
and lately it is interfering with my everyday life. I do not know if it is WLS related or just me being tired. Before anyone says call your surgeon, I have and because I am military I get what I can. I have an appt for the end of next month. I asked why I would be so tired and she just said "that is something you have to ask him" UGH! They will do labs at that appt but man what can I do in the mean time. I take my vitamins everyday ( well at least 5 times a week) I am averaging my 65 g of protein a day too.
I did not go to the gym today because I was too exhausted. I have been taking a nap everyday and still sleeping at night with no problem....
Anyone have any ideas??

Do you take iron separately? Do you know what your ferritin level is?
I know that I have more energy when my ferritin level and vitamin D levels are above low normal
Can you try just walking for short segments?
Oh ... you can tell by username (blueskyday) that I know that I my energy level is affected my the amount of light I get ... days when the sky is grey wear me out. Try to be aware and consider a full spectrum kind of light for SAD in the AM if you think it help. The days are short this time of year.

I agree with Amy on this one! Living in VA I'm sure you are not getting any sun right now.....lol Try increasing your D3 it may be the key to feeling better. I have been taking double what I was this summer because I was starting to feel exhasted more and more as winter krept up! I feel tons better with my double dose! I have a TON of energy and my joints have stopped aching! I hope it's just your Vit D levels and nothing more serious. Keep us posted!

I have been in the house an unusual amount of days due to rain and snow, this could be a reason. I will make a point to get outside more, it is just so blasted cold and i FREEZE lol. I have also increased my D3 about a week ago, I was hoping then it would make a difference. Maybe my absorbption is really off. I was hoping out of every pill I would absorb at least half.
1) 100 grams of protein (whey protein isolates abosorb easiest)
2) B12 over 1000 on your labs (5,000mcg B12 sublingual a day)
3) D3 at or near 100 on your labs (10,000IUs of dry D3 a day)
4) get some sleep
5) keep that appointment
6) take a spa day

I am just now able to tolerate the protein powders so I have been trying to get them in everyday but have been getting in everything from food.
B12 did give a direct number but says >1000 H. So I think I have plenty of B12.
Increased my D3
Slept for 2 hours
made appt with PCP for tomorrow
I wish I could would love to have a pedi LOL

What were your levels on your labs for D3, protein and albumin last time?
How much dry D3 are you taking a day?
B12 does sound good.
Hmm...iron and ferritin levels last labs? If you don't use Vitalady's Tender iron, try Walgreen's Biferra.
Glad you made an appointment with your PCP.
I think that's all the ideas I have. Keep us posted and good luck!
