Ok - I've gotten away from this for awhile, but thought I'd resurrect the idea since so many of you have been having some great NSV's with clothes.

I have been put on a "shopping diet" - which means I'm NOT doing any clothes shopping... well, that's really not quite true.  Went to Macy's last night and bought this real cute shirt... tried it on this morning and its WAY too small.  I'm going to have to return it and see if they have it bigger.  Its a small, which usually I don't have problems fitting into, so if I find more I may need to go up to a Large - it was THAT small (tight).  Lets just say, after my BL/BA, it wouldn't fit....

I also hit my favorite thrift store last week and walked out with a very nice woolly sweater and 2 nice shirts for BF for $3.50 each.  This sweater is originally $40.... I've bought quite a few sweaters from this place - I love it!!  Nice stuff....

I've got a few bags of clothes I need take to the thrift store - its run by a local church so I don't mind donating to good causes like that.  I think it funds the youth group activites.

How about you?  Anything new?  Exciting?  Sizes you're now getting into?

I bought a beautiful silk dress at Off Saks at the Outlet mall, was $198 marked down to $50.00.  It's a Tahari in size 0!

Mind you I find Tahari is weird with their sizing.  I tried on a few dresses there from different manufacturers ranging in size from 0 to 6 and they all fit perfectly.

Woohoo!  What a great deal!

I think all sizing is quite mucked up!  I have to try EVERYTHING on (hence having to take back the shirt that's too small.... because I didn't!)

I have quite a few dresses and love wearing dresses, but have no wear to wear them.

I wore dress clothes to work, dress pants, dress boots, shirts/sweaters, but its always SO cold in the office so now I'm wearing jeans and heavy sweaters, just like everyone else...

I've been having a terrible time lately because some Smalls are too big and some are too small.  My DH bought me 6 tops for Christmas and only 2 fit me.

I'm so excited that you are getting your BL/BA.  I wish I could afford it....  Maybe if I hadn't used my credit card so much during the "going crazy shopping stage" I'd be in a better position to spend the money.....

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

Shirts/sweaters I'm usually pretty safe on as far as smalls fitting, but not this time...

Yea, my credit card took a hit too this Christmas season... oh well... I'll get it ALL paid off in no time!

During my shopping trip in December, I bought 2 pairs of pants and had to take back one pair, because it marked a regular 6 and was too large. By the time, that I returned the pants, the sixes were a little loose, so I picked up a couple of Petite 4's. I am able to wear the 4's and today, I put on a pair of size 6 and they were almost too big. Incredible, since my weight loss has slowed. I must be loosing inches and/or the weight training is making some changes in my body. Oh, and I was up 0.5lb  this AM. Go figure.

Wow - that's great!  Not the 0.5 lbs, but the clothes sizes - lol.

I found when I would stop losing during weight lose phase, inches still came off - then the lbs will come off - if you're losing inches and toning, the weight will follow!

I'm glad my 4's are fitting more comfy now - it really had me wigged out that I may have to go buy some 6's!  I only have 1 pair of size 6 jeans...

Coach stiletto-heeled clogs at Goodwill for $35!

But the big one for me is that the breast specialist says he thinks that enough of the swelling from my breast lift/reduction is gone that what I have, I'll keep! So I was able to hit the VS semi-annual sale and pick up a handful of bras that actually FIT and are cute and all that good stuff for under a third of what it would have cost otherwise! It was actually funny: I had all my silicon on for scar care from the plastics, so DD had to come in and help me with some of the strap adjustments and she couldn't stop laughing at how silly I looked with silicon sticking out of the bras all over the place.

Next on the list - my warm boots are finally wearing out (they were Target knock-offs of Uggs and are 5 years old), so I'm trying to find something similar on clearance that I can pick up in a store rather than having to have them shipped.

On the downside, my absolutely forever favorite style of bra from there no longer fits in any size. I'm just not shaped that way any longer. Oh well - I look and feel much better, so I now have a new favorite style!

I was at the mall last night and saw VS had $12.99 clearance on bras - I would have been tempted any other time to go in and see what I coudl find, but I have NO idea what size/shape I'll be.  My current bra is a padded one from there... and yes, they don't make it anymore either.  Seems I bought it and when I went back for another 2 weeks later, it was discontinued.  Didn't they know that at the time I bought it?  I was disappointed...

I found Macy's has good boot sales....

I'm having to stay away from stores right now.  I spent way too much money at Christmas.  I did go a couple of weeks ago and buy 2 pairs of dress pants(black & brown) and 2 tops to go with them, because I had to have something to wear to the board meetings this month.

The pants were size 6 petite and the shirts were smalls!!  These sizes are actually as hard to find as the larger sizes.  If anybody had told me I would be in this size, I would not have believed them.

I love shopping now and could really spend a lot of money!!
