Rosa babeeeeeeeeee,
Have a great time on vacation and we all of course want to see pics of you in your bikini. In fact, tonight would be a great time to post that pic. :)
I'm glad you're having fun out there dating all these guys. Go for it. Be your wonderful self and the right guy will come along for you!
At 60, what I'm looking for seems a little different than before. I'm praying to have an open heart and an open mind and be willing to check out what comes my way before deciding that he doesn't meet my criteria. The guy I'm going out with this weekend is a few years younger (great!), but well under 6'. I like tall guys as well, but I'm finding that I like honest and kind even more than tall. As far as $, I have worked hard so that I can live in a great place and travel and I'd like a guy that can hold his own. He doesn't have to take care of me because I'm good at that, but he has to take care of himself.
Extreme right politics, racism, judgementalness and hatred etc are the deal breakers "for me".

Oh how fun!! You have so many exciting things going on in your life right now! Thanks for the dating update (keep 'em coming) and yes, we MUST see your hotness in your white bikini!!
PS Being 6' tall, I was just always happy to have a guy be atleast my height (which hubby is) because I never knew anyone very much taller. But, I do think that if I ever became single again (God forbid) I would look for someone atleast 6'4". We have a friend who is 6'5" and I love how it feels to stand next to him and hug him. lol

Oh to be young and single.....I don't even remember those days. My DH was my first car date and we have been married 36 years. I liked tall muscular guys and he was and still is perfect for me.
I thought about my oldest DD when I read your post. She had a long list of requirements for the "perfect" guy from tall and thin to likes to wear a suit....it was quite hysterical when she started dating my SIL because other than being a Christian (which was top on the list) he didn't fit the bill at all. He is only 5'8, the suit he owned was several sizes to small, he was in debt because he loves "toys", he's a hunter, and his favorite piece of clothing is a tossle cap and ripped jeans. They made a really big deal about her list at the rehearsal.
Don't give up searching for your "perfect" guy but don't be surprised if once you meet him the list goes out the window.
Have Fun on your dates and Vacation!!! Keep the stories coming...some of us live through the youngins....LOL

I should be clear that I'm totally kidding with the list-type stuff. I do have preferences, but find myself to be open to whatever might come. I love looking up and seeing a man rather than sky, but the important thing is to be able to look over and see someone good, no matter how tall he is. :)
As for the wallet issue, that's more complicated. Living here, you just need to make a near fortune to make it. I can take care of myself, but I'm not sure that I'd want to adjust my lifestyle down to sustain another person on my income. So I do feel like he probably needs to make a decent living. That's a change for me - all of my previous bfs have been entirely and completely broke. I think it's actually healthy that I'm now being more responsible and clear about what I want and need. :)
Now, onto tonight's update. I'm just returning from date with Mr. Management Consultant. Let's call him Mr. Harvard from now on (he went there for undergrad and business school.) I was totally relaxed because I wasn't especially excited about meeting him, which actually made the date much more fun. He's hilarious in a quirky nerdy kind of way. I'm not clear on whether or not I'm attracted to him, but we'll see. It's not that he's unattractive. He's actually handsome. We just had a really fun, funny date and I was too busy laughing to think about him as a man. I did take his arm to walk home, though (it was cold!) and it was a nice arm. He definitely wants to see me again. I made it clear that I'm seeing other people, just in case. I worry about not making that explicit from the beginning - I think that guys have a totally different experience with these sites than what I'm describing of my experience. At least that's what they tell me...
Meanwhile, Mr. Accent wants to have a doggie date on Saturday & take little Shelby out somewhere fun. He loves dogs, and Shelby loves him (I let him come with us on a walk Saturday night.) Apparently, he's been a bit aloof these past few days (which was the real reason I'd started to sour on him, not his height) because his dad had a heart attack, and he's been in his cave dealing with that. I'm totally swamped on Saturday, but I'll see him anyway, because I like the excitement I feel when I'm with him. He's Mr. Butterflies, really.
So that's the latest. I shall keep you posted, of course!
Thanks for the notes!
