Destination is Orlando, not even close to dates yet.

Hope to leave mid-May

straight down I-5
The usual CA route
down I-5 to Vacaville area
then to
San Jose area
Fresno area to drive Alice insane
south to I-10 to Phoenix
south and then: choice
across the top of TX, the bottom or the middle

So then that leaves which state comes after
but NOLA
then Orlando via Bradenton, FL (Don's sis lives there)

Coming back N up the coast mostly
The rest of Don's family is E NY, BUT THEN we want to see the NE corner
so try to touch all the states up there at least for a minute
coming back via N part of OH, IND
Chicago
across NE
SLC
Boise

I'd kinda like to go across MO, KA, CO, but people have not asked for us there

You're missing MINNESOTA........LOL!  We have at least 6 active MN LW's who I'm sure would come together for a vitamin fest!! 

Yes. We're avoiding the Dakotas, actually.

Been thru twice. Twice we got 5 MPG. Can't afford it. So, we're going across further S and we have not done this route yet.

Nothing says you can't meet with another group where we will be and have a slumber party with others of our kind, right?

The mountains of Western North Carolina are really nice in the summer.

I hope you are coming through South Georgia.  You could park in my yard-my parents do it all the time!!
