Ok so I am getting the U look sick comments
I don't normally post on here, I'm a lurker :) However I am a hairstylist and these are the 2 products that I always have in my own house. The spray in conditioner is not heavy and does not leave your hair flat or greasy, I use this on all my clients after their shampoo and wash out conditioner. The shine spray I use everyday and it has never made my hair appear greasy or flat but adds a ton of shine and also protects your hair against heat from styling. When hair starts looking dry and dull, it needs moisture to help reflect the light.
Brenda, you can normally find both products in various salons which is the preferred place to buy them. That way if you have a problem with them or they don't work for you, most salons will refund or replace the products for you.
I have included a couple of links for you. As I said I don't normally post much, but I really like and personally use these products...I don't make anything selling them :) My hair started coming out at about 6 weeks and it hasn't slowed down yet. Thank goodness it was really thick to begin with, but I ended up getting about 8 inches cut off yesterday, but what I have left still looks good :D

Hey Jody! I've been thinking about trying Wen also, you can get it on Chaz Dean's website and Amazon and you can order just one bottle. A friend of my Mom's had RNY and she said it made her hair thicken up. I have a cosmetology license so it's really hard for me to make myself pay retail for hair products but I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and try it. Keep us posted if you try it.
We've all gotten these comments made to us!! I think people that say this, just aren't use to seeing us thin. So to them, we do look sick or unhealthy. Even though pre WLS we were far more unhealthy!! Our weight redistributes and stabilizes. I would just tell people, I feel much better now and my body will stop and stabilize when it gets to where it wants to be!
As far as hair...you've had some good suggestions so far. I use Garnier Fructis shampoo & conditioner normally. But once every 2-3 weeks, I use the GF Deep conditioning treatment. I wash with the shampoo and then use it as my conditioner for that day (you put it on your hair and leave it in for about 3 mins). I notice my hair is much softer and healthier looking after I use it. I'm sure I could use it more often, but I don't do a whole lot to my hair.....except now I am addicted to straighten in with my straightener that I got for Christmas!! So I may use it more often!
