Halfway to goal???

I changed my ticker after staying the same for four days and was surprised and delighted to see that I'm halfway there. I count the 14 pounds I lost pre-op, cause those bad boys are gone, too. I weigh everyday and record it, hoping someday to learn Excel and make a spread sheet. I know we are told not to weigh everyday, but for now, I like the reinforcement/accountability.

Thank you all for giving me a group to share this with. I have people in my life who haven't noticed I've lost a pound.

This is me showing off my smaller butt!!!!

Yea!  I weighed everyday too and counted it!  I actually have a graph of EVERY time I lost a lb... is interesting to go back and look at.  Gives a very good picture of my loss. When I thought I stalled... I really didn't...

Hi Wendy,

Congratulations on making it to the halfway point.!!! I count those pre-op bad boys, too.

I weigh everyday and write the numbers on a calendar. I haven't graduated to an Excel sheet. When I think that I haven't lost very much, I total the weight lost for the month, and it has been good news. The weight loss is slowing, but as many people have said, it is a marathon , not a race.

Way to go girl!

And Excel is super easy - really, I use it all the time. You could learn it in just a few minutes if you want that tool. It might take a bit longer to use the graphing capabilities and stuff, but just to start logging your miles, it's super easy.

This site will get you started - http://spreadsheets.about.com/od/excel101/a/2007_Excel.htm

Congrats on being halfway there!

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
