Protein drinks easier than food....

I am almost 8 months out, 90 lbs lost and 10 lbs from my goal of 112 lbs. 

Lately I am finding I am doing more protein drinks and less meals.  Breakfast is always a drink....lunch a salad with protein and supper i**** or miss with meal vs protien drink.    I do snack on healthy protiens and 1  fruit a day.  It just sometimes seems like too much trouble to prepare a meal for the amount I eat.  I also do not tolerate many foods...so it is a pain in the arse to find something that wont make my pouch hurt...I know the proten drink won't bother my pouch.

Anyone else have a similar routine or am I just wierd?

No, totally not weird..I much prefer drinking than eating..always have one for breakfast for lunch greek yogurt and a "normal" dinner of lean protein...I also don't tolerate very many foods and I just dont like to eat anymore..im guess that will go away once we are further out but who knows.

I'm the same way.....I'd much rather drink my protein drinks than actually make a meal that 3/4 of will end up in the trash because I can't eat it or I'm bored with it.....My MEALS are usually something a person who hasn't had WLS would eat for a "snack"......LOL

Im the same way.  I have no isses with food but would much rather drink protein drinks than eat food.  Cindy

My insides don't seem to work well in the morning.  A protein drink is the perfect start to my day.  I really can't handle food until 10ish.  It is so much easier to ensure I'm getting all my protein in when I drink it.  You're not weird, just one of us.   Hmmm...I guess being one of us, doesn't make you not weird.  How about this...You aren't the only one.

I start my day with a protein shake as well....as much as I'd prefer to just drink.....the not eating part was making me above and beyond constipated (TMI), so I actually have to eat.....but it's much easier to just drink my  meals.
