I tried to get my 2.5 yr. old DGS to watch them with me the other day and he just walked away.  I guess there isn't enough action for the kids now....LOL

It could be just your body adjusting but it's best to get a professional opinion.

Hey Roz - bad time of the year to visit Indy - the canal is such a great walking area (and you can rent those little boats that you power with your feet) in good weather, that is.

I started a class today - FIT, females in training. I think I need to change the acronym to Fatty in Training. My go**** was HARD. It is at the local Y and it's for strength training and improving your core. Apparantly, my core is made up of mushy stuff right now. Am I ever gonna be sore tomorrow!!!!

Anyway, still HATING the shakes, so this is what I'll be like today:

B: Cottage Cheese 13g
S: Cottage Cheese 13g
L: Chicken and white bean soup w/greek yogurt 22g
S: nachos (Trader Joe's Flaxseed chips  - 6g protein plus refried bean or whole black beans and greek yogurt) 15g

We always stay at a hotel that is connected to the convention center so  it doesn't really matter what the weather's like.   Fortunately we have never hit bad weather driving there.

I hope you don't get to sore. 

Keep trying the shakes.  Try them hot instead of cold.  I put chocolate in my Swiss Hot Chocolate and I can't even taste the Protein.  I didn't drink the shakes in the beginning either and now I am so hooked on them.   I can't even imagine relying soley on food.  At over 2 years out I still can't eat much at a time.

Glad you are back into your routine. I am such a creature of habit! Glad your tummy is feeling better.

I'm a creature of habit too and I am definately boring when it comes to my menus but I'm happy with that.

Great Protein total!!

Boy, I wi**** was warm here!!  I've beem making our Florida plans but I wish we were going next month instead of May.

Good morning...glad you are feeling better! I feel like I may be getting sick...all over body ache and the thought of food is making me nauseous. Eats are really light for now but I'm going to find a recipe for big warm protein drink that I can get down!

7am- hot chocolate protein
12pm-plain shrimp
5pm-crockpot chicken
8pm- warm protein shake?

350 cal
6 carb
65 protein

100ish oz water +vits

I have the DaVinci SF Syrups and they taste so good in warmed up Chocolate Protein.  I use the Cinnamon, Toasted Marshmallow, and Gingerbread the most.

How many Calories and Protein are you suppose to be getting in?   Are you almost a year out?  Are your totals always this low?

Roz...so glad to have you back too!! I am glad you had a great weekend.

I am getting pretty good now at getting my breakfasts prepared for the week. This week I made Eggacups...lol. Baked mini egg cups with the muffin tin lined w/turkey pastrami. Egg whites blended with cottage cheese, oat flour, and protein powder. One batch made 18 mini eggacups.

B - Strawberry Cheesecake Protein Shake (35.5g & 179 cal)
S - 4 eggacups (16.64g & 108 cal)
L - small tossed salad w/light ranch dressing (1g & 25 cal)
turkey meatballs w/sauteed peppers/onions (12g & 150 cal)
S - Garbanzo bean salad w/tomatoes & green chili (6g & 110 cal)
S - Sugar snap peas & grape tomatoes w/greek yogurt dip (13.5g & 105 cal)
D - maybe some chicken and salad...dunno yet.

Protein: 84.64 w/o dinner
Calories: 677 w/o dinner

vits: on track
Water: 30 oz down...now time for snacks...then will resume drinking water...lol
Miles: um...gonna try to get cardio in if I can get my paper written in time...

Here's the recipe for the eggacups

Ingredients

Directions

Blend all ingredients very well until smooth

spoon into mini cups lined w/turkey pastrami

bake @ 375 for 20 min
