hair loss?

I am losing my hair..no bald spots or anything but I have really thick hair..no one can tell but me, and it does bother me enough that I have upped my protein and starting taking biotin 5mg a day.

 Hair loss is so different for everyone.  You got some good tips about vitamins etc.

I started losing hair between 4-5 months.  It was pretty bad for several months but no bald spots or anything else.  I switched to a shampoo without chemicals or suds that was more gentle on my hair.  I also started using more conditioner.  I stopped coming my hair with my fingers because they were just covered in hair so I used a big plastic comb that didn't pull my hair.  For the summer I only washed my hair 2x a week or after I went swimming to get the chlorine out.  My hairdresser said it didn't make a difference but I thought it did.  Maybe it was just that I didn't have to comb it.

I did keep cutting my hair shorter and shorter so that it would be fuller and need less care.  Now at 11 months (today) I don't seem to be losing more than a couple of strands here and there and when i pull my bangs back I can see all the cute little new hairs growing back in.

I started losing my hair right around 3 mos. post op.  Just in the past couple days the hair loss has eased up significantly which put me at losing hair for appox. 3 mos.  I would say I lost a fair amount. It has thinned.  I can't really see a difference which I would attribute to my having blonde hair.  I'm sure it's much more noticable the darker the person's hair.
