Fitness Fun - January 16

Good Day LW's...

I am on rest day today. BUT I will not be "resting". I will be shopping, cooking, and prepping for new recipes this upcoming week. I need some inspiration for new recipes...you got any??

Completed the Cascade Half Marathon today - 13.19 miles total. It was such crazy weather. 55 degrees, pouring down rain, and wicked winds. Overall, I did great though (for me) and averaged 10:47 minute miles. I'm all pumped up about running now!!

Waiting for new t.v. to be delivered (funny we had to get a bigger one, we don't even get cable or regular t.v. - only Netflix). Going to Y today.

Recipe ideas: I am looking for an excellent chicken or pork chinese dish with peanut sauce. Figured maybe some of these PB flours or whatever they are could be used to make a good peanut chicken or peanut pork. Maybe that's not to WL friendly, but I've been craving a good peanut dish.

OT question, but related a bit.... can brown rice be o.k. or should we shy away from all rices because of the carbyness?
