There is a way to join a GROUP, such as the VSG Maintenance Group.  Then there's a FORUM, like Lightweights.

What's the difference?

A group is *owned* and started and monitored by an induvidual with OH's permission. Sometimes it is an open group and anyone can visit ,read and post and sometimes it is a closed group and you have to be accepted by the moderator of that group and they *don't* have to accept you.

A forum is *owned* and monitored by OH. it is open for anyone who visits the site to join, read, post, etc as they choose within the accepted guidelines.

Holly, you are a wealth of information!  So my question is what is a "friend?"  Does it just mean that you can post an individual message to that person?  Thanks.

You can send anyone a message, regardless if they're your *friend* or not.

If you have someone as a friend, when you go to your start page on MY OH, you can see their posts, etc.  That way you can keep up with what's going on with them.
