Aggravation
I just need to vent! I am in a blasted stall and have not seen any relief! I am excercising now (newly started this week) and it seems as if NOW is when my weight decides to stall AGAIN on me!!!
I am just frustrated, I wanted to be at 150 by next week and I am holding steady at 153.3. AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGG!!!!!
I know it is normal, and I know I will go through these but man I hate them.
Ok I am over venting thank you!

Cut yourself and your body some slack and give it time to respond to exercise ... sometimes your muscles hold onto more water in response to exercise.
The clincial psych guy in my program has a saying : "Weigh weekly, evaluate monthly"
Keep doing what you know should work and success will find you :-)
I've never had a stall, or what I call a stall. But every few weeks, I have a bounce week. I usually start with a low weight, then go up a pound or 2, then bounce around for about a week. Then I start losing again, a pound every couple of days. I don't change anything, just keep on keeping on. But it is frustrating when you gain 2 lbs and you know you aren't doing anything wrong. The good news is that I am still shrinking. I tried on some of the size 12 jeans that I couldn't wear a week ago and they came on and buttoned and zipped. A little too tight still but I couldn't get the button any where close 2 weeks ago.

Being the slow loss Queen, I have to just smile and nod as I read your post. It's so freakin frustrating isn't it? That said, if you're doing everything you should be, just relax and know that your body is ultimately smarter than you are when it comes to releasing the weight. We've been so used to living with broken bodies that it's hard to give kudos where they really belong, to this incredible machine that knows just what to do.
Last summer I was working out 3 hours a day. Walked 7 miles a day and 1 hour in the gym for weights and cardio. That was 7 days a week. I lost aprox. 3 pounds a month. It was the most frustrating I'd ever felt because I was eating well and exercising. Now I can look back and laugh and just be more tolerant. I try to keep hope alive instead of frustration these days. Gratitude is a much easier emotion to live with.
You'll get where you're going. :)

The further down you get, the number of pounds lost/week, will start decreasing. At least it has been that way for me. It seems like, I am averaging about a pound per week. A stall is usually 2 weeks without any weight loss. With slower weight loss, you are losing more fat than muscle, which is what you want. Your body may be adjusting to the change in exercise and is holding onto water. Keep doing what you're doing. The exercise will start helping and you will reach your goal.
In about 4 or 5 months (maybe sooner?), I'm going to literally Zumba my butt off. LOL (In the privacy of my own home of course... for now.) DH decided Wii Fit was for kids and bought a PlayStation 3 for me instead. :-( (Actually, he was afraid I'd fall stepping on and off the little pad on the floor... he might be wiser than I give him credit for sometimes. lol) Zumba was the only thing available that caught my eye. Anybody else familiar with PS3 exercise/dance/games?
Thanks for the forewarnings that the weight loss gets slower but more beneficial (fat is coming off) as we go along. I'm grateful for every little ounce lighter I am even now. I had to MAINTAIN my BMI to make sure I'd get insurance coverage and I never thought I'd be glad to not have to eat carbs. I'm steady losing already so my surgeon oughta have an easy time when he gets in there to scramble me up. lol

Instead of weighing, MEASURE yourself. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat.
