 Congratulations on your adventures. I read a statistic that something like 30% of relationships now start online. My friend's grandson is a University of Chicago graduate, fabulous job, and now married to someone he met on line. Someday young people will say in disgust, "you met him in a bar?".

You are so lovely and radiate warmth in your photo and posts. You go get what you want and need. Be confident you are the gift and anyone with you is lucky.

Tell or not to tell is personal. I want to share everything once I trust a person. You know your own comfort zone.

There's something to be said for online dating.  I mean, the alternatives, like meeting in a bar, aren't necessarily more safe at this point.  My favorite is through friends, who have references.  But most of my friends around here are single - so they're not passing any guys along! :)

Congrats on finally having fun in the dating world.  I tried it too (before surgery).  Lots of duds but it helped me get over thinking I wasn't date worthy!  Also, try more sites if you find more creeps than keepers.  I did that and then met my husband online 4 years ago.

Love the tip about going to new places on a date.  Wish I had heard it before i got married!LOL

So sorry that the fat girl mentality is still holding on. I know I feel the same way. I think our brains and our attitudes need time to change and catch up with our bodies.
As for any new relationship or friendship, you do not reveal all of your self in a short time. These things take time.
Enjoy! You are truly beautiful inside and out, and I am sure that it wont be long before some lucky fella figures that out!
