Now - you need to work on getting the "fat girl out of your head" - I know, easier said than done...
Now - regarding the "tell or not to tell" - only tell when you're comfortable with it - if ever. I was the type that told usually right up front, because the topic usually came around to food, how I ate, etc. Everyone was very open and didn't judge. Great topic of conversation, BUT - don't do it until you want too.
We HAVE missed you here! But I totally understand how life gets in the way. I met my guy online, and we hit our 2 month anniversary the 12th. Yes, we count them - lol.
Enjoy dating - that's what's it is all about. Your friend was so right when she said look at it as an opportunity to go places you wouldn't otherwise. Its all about having fun. If its not fun, then why do it?
Love hearing your update! Keep us updated on what's going on with your subsequent and future dates! I wish the dating pool here was as varied as you have there, but I found a great guy so I'm not complaining. But - I DID have to go through a lot of toads before I found my prince!!

I talked to a friend today who made this point:
You never were a fat girl. The fat was never you. You just shed an extra self, not the self that has and will always remain.
He's a good friend!
I'm going to think about that. Shedding something that hid myself. Yes, that's a good thought...
