Where's Rosa? Living her new life of intrigue...
Exciting times for you, Rosa! I met my husband 7 years ago on eHarmony. I was 37 at the time and it was a very different way to meet people.
Take your time and get to know these people AND their families!!! and most importantly... HAVE FUN!
I'm pre-op and gave some thought to the "tell / no tell" ... I don't think I would tell now either. You will know when the time is right.

Hi Rosa,
Love your new pic! I think it's grand that you're out there dating. I don't see anything strange in your post. I say do what feels right to you. I've only been on two dates in the last month and I didn't talk about surgery to either one. If I were in a relationship, I probably would because I would want them to tell me as well.
I'm not surprised that these guys think you're fantastic. We all do!! You have so much to offer up in the dating world out there. Go out and have a great time. Experience all the things you haven't in the past. Feel good about yourself, revel in how great you look and just be present.
Last weekend as I was dropping Zach and his girlfriend at the airport, I was heading out to coffee with a guy. I said to Zach that this was the first date in my life where I wasn't afraid the guy would be disappointed because of how I look. I was able to just throw on jeans and a sweater and walk out the door, feeling confident.
The response that I seem to get a lot on the dating site I'm on is... why do you say you have a few extra pounds? They all tell me to change it to average, but I'm not ready until that's the case. I hate false advertising in the online dating world. I figure if they don't want to date me because of a few extra pounds, they probably aren't very tolerant in other areas as well.
Have fun beautiful Rosa. Have the time of your life. You've worked hard to get to this point in your journey. I'm so excited for you!!

Yes! Remind me to take the cover off my new iPhone before taking pictures. I took some of Kristen on Wednesday night and couldn't figure out why they were blurry on the top. DUH!
I'm going to need to dash out of there at the end because I'm going to the East Bay Bariatric OH group in San Leandro after the luncheon. So let's take pics while everyone is ordering and talking. It's supposed to be a beautiful day so we can find a nice tree to lean against etc. We'll also do some indoor shots. You deserve a great record of the fantastic job you're doing. :)

Earlier than 2 for newbies. Their session ends at 1:45, brea****il 2pm. Then everyone from 2-3:30. I wasn't impressed with the meeting last month, but Kimberly, the leader, was not there. I'm hoping it will be great this month! I need all the dang support I can get. :)
