My take-away was that post WLS everything gets better for the younger crowd and those with new love interests. No names..(cough...Jody).

Haha Gina - it didn't only get BETTER - it got EASIER! LOL...
We discussed a huge range of issues, from the fear of rejection from hanging skin to how our current signfiicant others see us. Yes, we even talked about "positions" and how soon after WLS you could have sex.
It was interesting and fun - and got to be quite detailed at time!
Heather asked me to host a chat on Plastic Surgery, which I agreed to. It will be sometime in February AFTER my BL/BA.

I missed it last night ~ It started when I left work PST and I travel an hour or so commute home and by the time I got online, ya'll were winding down the convo...so I bailed and made dinner....oh well, I'm sure it won't be the last time we talk about it.
And Jody, you are right, better because it is easier....and we feel better inside and out too...

I'm not signed up for the LW's on FB. I rarely go onto FB and I'm not "out" about my surgery to the general public, only to friends that I actually see. If we sign up for LW on FB does it show up on our links on our general page. I rarely go there so I don't even know what shows up.
I'm looking foward to that first experience of sex, post-op. I guess I'd better start meeting all those guys writing me on plentyoffish so that I can start a relationship!

Ure like me Lee .. well I waited almost till NOW but i don't regret it a bit .... it was WORTH it

I believe it went wonderful! It concluded at about 9:30 eastern. After that I am not sure, we discussed EVERYTHING!
Kinda proves that we are very comfortable with each other and have no problem talking about it.
Lee, you can join the group and noone will see it but if you post on the wall, it can be seen by friends. The chat room is private, noone but the people in the room can see what is going on.

Stacey have you had friends tell you they can see what you've posted on the wall? My understanding is that ALL aspects of the group are private.......do they see "so & so commented on OH-WLS-Lightweights", or the entire comment you make? If it's the name of the group and no actual comments I can change the GROUP NAME.......to something a little more incognito.....like "CRITTER SWINGING", or "SKINNY BIOTCHES r US"......LOL......just kidding on the last one.....

OK you scared me for a minute.......LOL Actually if look at the wall post you will see that it has a lock next to it. If you hover over the lock it will tell you that the post is only viewable by members of the group. Let me know when you find out.
