higher protein oatmeal

I have been looking for a way to make my oatmeal more protein and struck on something today.  I only eat 1/2 pk of sf oatmeal and even with milk, it was only about 4g.  Today I added a little more milk and PB2.  It was good and doubled the protein.  Yum.

Sounds yummy, wish I could handle oatmeal. I live on Cream of wheat.

I add unflavoured protein powder to my oatmeal, it changes the consistency a bit but I don't mind and it really jacks up the protein.

Hi,
I add 1/2 scoop of Fuzzy Navel Nectar and it becomes peaches and cream oatmeal.  I do not add milk, I make the oatmeal with water and the nectar (added once its fully cooked) makes the consistency like I added milk.  around 11.5 grams of protein

Great ideas.  I tried the nectar unflavored once and it was not good but maybe fuzzy navel would work.  Thanks ladies.

If you throw in some ground flax seed it bumps up the fiber content too. I put vanilla protien powder in mine and use mootopia. Sometimes I also throw in some home made trail mix for crunch. I only eat oatmeal at night. The carbs make me way too sleepy to do it in the morning, even if I add protien. If I don't add protien, I'll dump on it.
