Menus and Miles Tues. Jan 11th

I don't make ice cream anymore.  I love the CarbSmart fudgesicles and they are so much easier-of course they don't have protein in them.  I go through spells of doing something and then change to something else(haha).

I make my white chicken chili and love it.  What was wrong with yours?  I got the recipe off the recipe forum a long time ago.  It is really good.

The chili I made was really spicy and my tummy just doesn't like spice since surgery.  I'm going to try the Hormel white chili for lunch.  Since I like their regular chili. I'm hoping this has the same taste.  Nothing beats Wendy's chili for me though.

We didn't get much snow last night.  Pittsburgh which is about an hour south got hit hard.

I agree Wendy's chili is the best!! 

I use the mild green chilies and chili powder.  Mine is not too spicy.

I made some roasted butternut squash the other night and put caynenne pepper in it and it was way tooo hot for me!!

Good morning Roz...

Here's my game plan for today:

B - Protein shake made w/sf cherry pie filling...um, yah, yummy (36g & 206 cal)
S - egg-a-boo (my recipe egg white with sausage fried into it) (16g & 110 cal)
L - 1 stuffed slider (my recipe) served w/small salad (15.5 & 158 cal)
S - celery and laughing cow cheese (5g & 80 cal)
S - apple w/greek yogurt dip (sweetened w/sf syrup and tossed w/blueberries) (12g & 161 cal)
D - baked tilapia w/mashed cauliflower (23g & 118 cal) if I can finish 4oz of fish...lol
S - greek yogurt mock pudding (12g & 65 cal)

Protein: 119g
Calories: 898

My intake has been averaging 55% Protein, 25% Carbs, 20% Fat. Not too bad I'd say and it's all HEALTHY Carbs...

Vits: on track
Water: 20oz down

MENU: (DS Maintenance Mode)
B - 2 protein coffees (40g)
S - protein coffee (20g) and ham cubes
S - Fage yogurt w/blueberries
L - protein shake (30g) and 1/2 peanut butter sandwich on multi grain bread
S - popcorn
D - 1/2 a chicken thigh w/cream of chicken gravy and some green beans
S - CarbSmart ice cream

VITAMINS:
morning batch: done
calcium batches: done
iron: done
Omega 3-6-9: done
evening batch: starting
bedtime batch: pending

MILES:
3 - 15 minute walks and 60 leaning push-ups

Maybe a few changes but when I talked to our dietitian a support group she asked me why I was going to change anything if I still liked my shakes and my labs were good. Got me thinking...now that's a dangerous thought!

B: String Cheese 4 oz of Skim milk and 2 oz of coffee
S: none- didn't have time
L: 2 oz of chicken breast w/ about 2 oz of mash potatoes
S: FF Jello
D: 1 BBQ rib with some Cucumber/Tomato/fetta cheese salad with FF Italian dressing

Did 3.5 miles on the elliptical this morning and will do some lower body work out later on at home. 

Water: So far 8 oz....need to work on that
Vitamins: Will finish them by lunch
