Although I feel so much better being off all that sugar I indulged in over the holidays it has caused another problem.  I thought my colace was working but it must have been all of the extra sugar and fats that were keeping me moving.

Writing everything down has helped me so much!!! I would really like to see some more posters.  Seeing what is working for others helps the rest of us put some variety into our meals.

Roz - I KNOW the extra sugars kept me quite regular over the holidays... after cutting them out - OUCH!!  I take a colace everyday too....

Not sure what I'm eating today... I am the highest I've been since I've reached my goal and its just not acceptable...

B - 2 protein coffees
L - snacked on almonds
D - found a recipe for a healthy white chicken chili - I may try that.

Vits:  yes
Water:  doing ok
Miles:  wanted to do zumba tonight, but probably won't..

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

It's probably because you are happy with your new guy but if you don't get back on track you won't be happy with the extra weight....come on Jody...you can do this!!!!!. 

How did you eat before when you were losing?  I thought you ate more like Gina and I.  Small meals every few hours.

I used to eat 3 meals and 2 snacks, but cut out the snacks a few months ago when I realized I was eating them "just to eat".  And - I was gaining then. Once I cut them out and watched my portion sizes the rest of the time, the weight came back off.

We just "partied" too much over the holidays... the adult beverages are CUT out - no more!  That's for both of us.  He needs to lose weight too and while he's eating better, the weight isn't coming off very well... so he's on board with that too.

OK - I am still in the soft, moist protein phase of my plan.  I have had some struggles trying meat, but I think it's getting better.  My biggest challenge is getting in the 64 oz. of fluid.  And - I am also taking colace daily.  It looks like this may be permanant.

I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and 40 minutes of weights this morning.

Question: Do you still have a gain or slower weight loss with your period?

B: protein shake (23 g)
S: hot tea
L: greek yogurt (18 g)
S: cottage cheese (11)
D: turkey rolls? (15)

I had a hysterectomy so I don't have periods anymore but I've heard others mention that they gain or don't lose as much during that time.  You might want to post the question on the board.

It took me about 6 months before I could get 64 oz. in but I wasn't a drinker before surgery. Everyones different.  Just get in as much as you can.

Hi Roz, I hadn't thought that might be what was helping me.  I do 2 colace, mirlax and drink lots of fluids everyday and still have problems. 

I'm off work today.  We got rain/sleet last night and we are not used to it so almost everything closed down here!!  I'm going to be off schedule all day today.  I just took my vitamins so I'm about 2 hours behind on everything and I cooked breakfast and ate it.

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee
B:  1 egg, 1/2 oz cheese
S:  Hazelnut Decaf Coffee
S:  Fuzzy Navel Protein Drink
L:  Vegetable/Beef Soup(Homemade-not much broth)
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
S:  French Vanilla Decaf
D:  3 ozs chicken, roasted butternut squash-pretty spicy-saw recipe on the foodnetwork and altered it a little bit - it taste pretty good but hotttt because I used cayenne pepper instead of chili pepper.

Vitamins:  Morning vits done
Water:  28 ozs so far
Miles:   None yet

Our parking lots were icy when I got out of work this evening.  We are expecting a lot of snow starting tomorrow afternoon.  We go to Indianapolis this weekend for a comp and we are hoping it comes and gets over with.  It will be a long drive if the roads are bad.

Sounds like a great menu!!!!

Hi All,

OK, Still steadily losing approx a 1 lb or so a week:

B:  Oatmeal with splenda and Hood Simply Smart Milk (9g)
L:  4 wheat crackers with low fat cheddar cheese and roasted peppers (9)
S: Protein Hot Cocoa (32 g)
D: family will eat turkey clubs, and I'll do the lettuce/tom/turkey  on a plate (15g)
ADS: Protein Hot Cocoa (32g)

97g Protein / 775 calories

All vitamins and working on being better with water!


Should I exercize, YES, will I fit it in today with work , Probably NOT!  Need to work much harder at getting the exercize in!!

I didn't exercise and I wish I would have.  I might not have so much flab and loose skin if I had toned up some.

I'm happy to see the 2 Protein drinks!!
