fatoldbat has a face!
i was finally able to get my avatar photo to upload! now you know what i look like....i ain't much but i'm me! i had the coolest thing happen this afternoon. i ws at a coldwater creek store shopping a bit and was actually looking for a belt to wear with a new sweater i purchased. the sales lady was going through the belts on the rack and would say "that one's too big" and toss it to the side...."that one's too big" and toss it to the side. when she found the belt that fit i didn't pay attention to the size. when i got home i looked at the size....oh my gosh....on the back of the belt it says "S-M"! are you kidding me???? small to medium???? me????? oh my gosh!!! sometimes the fat me takes over and feels like the fat jenni. sometimes i catch a glimpse in the mirror and i think...."is that me?" my head isn't on the same page as my body! don't know how to get them on the same page!!! HMMMMMM! i'm now 1 pound away from my first goal of 155 lbs. thinking i would really like to be at 150. my sweet hubby says i'm small enough but i don't know if i really want to lose another few pounds or if i'm just trying to postpone the maintenance phase. i've never maintained and that scares me to death! and quite honestly.....i'd rather never be on maintenance than to gain weight!
this is me on New Year's Eve. i'm holding my size 18 jeans that were snug. i'm wearing size 6 jeans and size medium sweater! oh my gosh....loving my RNY!!! thank You,Jesus!!!
just wanted you all to see the "fatoldbat"!
blessings to you all!

How exciting. Although I agree, maintainance does scare me too. If I could have maintained all those other times, I wouldn't have needed surgery in the first place. But I'm convienced that this time will be different.
And you have a beautiful face. Thanks for letting us see it.
