Where's your normal posting chart?

I think I'd really like to run.  It's not much but I usually park away from the mall etc. and run to and from the entrance door.  It's probably looks crazy seeing a 57 year old woman running in the parking lot but it makes me feel so good to know I can do it...LOL

Hey Roz,
I've been kind of distracted lately with my husband being sick. He's in the hospital right now and we are working on getting him "ok". He's having a problem with his medication management and will probably be dealing with this for a couple of weeks. I have really been neglecting my FitDay food log. I will get back to it soon though. I do want to keep trying to post what I eat for accountability.

You should try running. If you have a local track, you can start out by running along the straight stretches and walking on the curves. That's how I started. I really do enjoy how good it feels and I'm still surprised I can do it.

I'm picturing you running into the mall -- others probably think they are missing out on some amazing sale or something! lol

Well, after all this time I have finally found an array of low calorie high fiber foods to take care of my one weakness; my sweet tooth!  I have found Dates are sweet and three of them is only 50 calories and they have protein, Iron and other really good things. Best of all I do not get dumping with them. I cut them up into thirds and take three Brazil nuts and cut them into thirds and I have a sweet, crunchy satisfying snack. I have also found grapefruit. I love it. It is a little high in carbs for a whole one, I scoop it out and put splenda on it, cool and flavorful! I also eat bananas. I know many people think these are too high in carbs but they are filling, have 3 gr fiber, and because if I want to eat something I will eat. I can plan them as the "grazing snack" I know I will eat instead of cookies or candy. I have not had dumping in over a week. I have been having to add the protein drinks back to day because I know I am not getting enough protein.

Breakfast egg 1/2 whole wheat english muffin
Snack                 Fortress Protein  (I can't wait till it is gone, it makes me so sick I had to take phenergan)
Lunch  lunch meat
Snack Grapefruit
Dinner pork and sauerkraut
dates and Basil nuts
