Roz, not to worry - Monday will be here before we know it! I have another busy day but this time loaded with fun activity: a visit with my friend and her kids (I'm the honorary auntie), manicure, groceries - topped off by a visit with a friend to Chicago's wonderful conservatory. I need a hit of green and flowers! I plan to eat:

B- protein drink with frozen bleuberries (40 g)
S- greek yogurt (18 g)
L- lox (10)
S- string cheese (6 g)
D- ???
S- fudgsicle

I am struggling on getting veggies in. I cannot keep them down. I am going to pick up some low sodium V-8 juice but would welcome other ideas.

Enjoy your Sunday.

I would love to see some green and flowers about now!! We have a trip next weekend but maybe when we get back will make a trip to Pittsburgh's conservatory.

I've never had problems with vegetables but V-8 should give you all that you need.

Hi Roz

Training someone new is always challenging....however the end result is always better.

School starts back this week and I have a new class, so pretty nervous about that.

B- 1/2 Protein bar (20 g)
L-Ricotta bake (10 g)
S- Protein Shake (30 g)
D- Ricotta Bake (10 g)

2 litres of crystalite

I cannot believe it but I have to shovel out the chicken coop again today!

Have a great day everyone.

Ginny,

Is the ricotta bake easy on the pouch?  I could use a new food item. How do you make it?  Thanks!

My ricotta bake is pretty darn boring, but since I am at the puree, soft food stage, it works.
I use ricotta light (same protein) - a couple of tablespoons
Either left over spaghetti sauce or mild salsa (pureed) - 1 tablespoon
A tablespoon or 2 of refried beans or baked beans.
I put the beans in the bottom of a bowl, add the ricotta and then layer the salsa, a few sprinkles of parmaesan cheese and microwave for about one and a half minutes.
That amount of food lasts me 2 meals.
As I said boring but it does have some taste and texture.

Acutally, it sounds yummy, and  I have the ingredients.  I think I have my dinner for tomorrow! I am on soft but I like to give my pouch a break, especially since I tent to have trouble keeping food down.  Thanks for this idea!  Do you happen to have the protein count?

Fortunately I don't have to train her but she will pick up some of the slack on the phones and filing that's not getting done because another employee has been out ill.  I HATE filing!!!!

Shoveling should keep those bat wings we all seem to have under control.

Good Menu!

I'd be crying too if it were my baby leaving.  Is he anxious to get back to his friends?
