Hey Snip, I bet 2# a week is just fine! I had the DS so I lost a bit more but malabsorption was a factor as well for me. Such wonderful things lay ahead for you I will hope to follow your progress these next few months. Good Luck ......Jeff

I had RNY and only lost 23lbs when by the time I was a month out......I have malabsorption too.....Sounds like you are doing fantastic to me!  I would increase your walking to EVERYDAY.  That was one thing my program pushed for an exercise goal......30 minutes of walking everyday!  I think that helped with burning some extra calories and helped increase my weightloss as well.  Keep up the great work!

2 lbs per week is GREAT! Don't sell yourself short...you are doing wonderful. My Dr had me taking a heartburn pill in the am and close to dinner time, he said with our surgery even though the box says one in 24 hours we can take 2 a day. It helped like crazy in the early stages for me. Now I only take 1 every now and then, when I eat certain foods. Keep working it...proud of you!

Sherry- Remember 2lbs per week is 104 pounds in a year!!!  I too have hit kinda a wall.  I have lost 18 pounds now for the past several days havn't lost any and some days am up a bit .4 pounds or so (up down up down) it is like the scale is doing push ups or something.  You have lost a ton for one month and we are both doing just fine my sleeve sista.  Sharon

You are loosing at a great rate. Just keep in mind that you do not have as much to loose as others like me. When you have more you can loose more. Also, I go thru phases where I loose inches and the next week I might loose weight. Keep in mind that it is only a tool not a magic wand to make the weight vanish. Love ya and keep up the hard work. It will pay off.
