Hi everyone!

I am just now getting online.

Had my surgery on Monday. Everything went great. Am still a bit sore, but the doc said I would be because apparently he had to remove some scar tissue from my c-sections. So most of my soreness is actually down low.
Been home since Wed night. So far so good. Having a hard time getting all the liquids.

How do you do it? How do you get all your liquids in? Am I supposed to be getting the 60-70 gram of protein in now too?

Wow, I can't believe I ma here and finally did it. What a great feeling!!

Thanks everyone!

Hello and welcome! It's hard the first few weeks, but just continue to sip as you go. You will get there, and can start adding in protein and build your way up! Good luck!

I was unable to get all my liquids in for the first couple weeks and sometimes I still struggle. Keep working on it and you will get there.

Welcome home. You pretty much have to sip all during your awake time. Right now don't worry as much about protein as you do about hydration. If you have protein shakes you could make a small one and you can count it as part of your fluids and protein. Take it slow but hydration is number one.

Congrats! Keep sipping. It takes time. But as previously mentioned really focus on your liquids and work you way up to your protein goal.
Good luck and welcome to the losers bench!

Congrats!!!  You'll be sore for a little bit, but it will fade quickly!!

Liquids is your biggest feat right now!!  You need to stay hydrated!!  The first couple of weeks you probably won't hit your target for protein.  I forget when my Dr wanted me hitting mine.  I think it was by 1 month or so.  You want to build up your protein.

Again Congrats!!  Enjoy the ride!

Congratulations, Debbie!  Like everyone else said, work on the liquids, but don't worry if you can't get them all in. Each day gets easier.  Try to get some walking in even if it's just around inside your house.  I know you are probably housebound due to the weather in MA, so just take walks around inside..... even if look like a crazy woman just walking in small circles!  haha

Where do you live in MA?  I lived there twice. First in Brookline then the South End of Boston (ick), then Cambridge (fun).  Then we moved back after we were married and lived in a small little house in Wellesley. LOVE MA  and miss it.
