Good luck!!! Some surgeons don't require a pre-op diet. When you go for your appointment they may have you do 2 days of liquids and a laxative or something. It won't be long now. Stock up on the stuff you need for after surgery and get your house in order so you can relax when you get home.

*Skinny jeans and boots are one of the best parts of losing weight!!! I don't dress revealing, heck my "girls" are almost gone lol, but I do dress a lot sexier and more form fitting than I ever have in my life.

Jenn, you will do fine.

Mine is the 24th, don't know the time yet but since I am diabetic, I will probably be in the very early slot. I usually am. One advantage of being a diabetic.

I got for my final exam with the nurse and preop on Monday the 10th. I don't have a preop diet either except for nothing by mouth after midnight the night before surgery.

I'm just ready for it to get here. Not nervous at all.

As for dressing like a total *****since I've been overweight since 12 years old, I don't know what it's like to be skinny, EVER.

I'm now 56 and just want to be healthy. If I can dress NORMAL, that will be nice too.

Liz

I'm right there with you!  My surgery is the24th, but this Monday I start a very strict 2 week  liquid diet.  I am glad that things are moving quickly now though...let's get this show on the road!  I can't wait to be on the loser's bench!  Good luck to us both!
