Good Morning. I'm late for work
I've tried to think of a good topic this morning and I'm coming up empty. Everything has been so rushed this week. You know when you're rushed you always get behind the school buses going in to work or your left contact lens just won't go in right or you can't find your keys.....
What happens when you're rushing because you're running late?

Good Morning Gina & LWs! Ive had a crazy busy week. Spending the majority of the time at the hosp. Everything went well with my Sisters surgery, thanks for all the prayers, and swingin critters. Dont have much planned today. Gonna catch up on laundry and OH posts. I know ya'll have been behavin' right?! :) Cindy
This week has been a little more relaxed for me. I am extremely OCD, so I don't run late very often. Here are some of the things I do (might help some people to not run late...or everyone will think I am nuts). Usually done in the early morning right after working out, sometimes done at night:
-everyone's vitamins for the following day in mini tupperware
-everyone's clothes laid out for next morning
-DH lunch for following day packed
-my food weighed, measured, and packaged for next day
-water bottles out for next day
-workout clothes and water bottles with a note of what routine I will be doing
-diaper bag packed if DS and I are going anywhere
-DDs packpacks by the door
-dinner ingredients all out, meat in fridge to thaw
-coffee pot ready to turn on, mini containers with protein powder, shaker cups out
-laundry basket by the basement stairs so it can be started pre-workout
It comes in handy when someone oversleeps or something comes up. It was especially helpful when I got the flu and the house had to run without me.

He laughs at me. My house has to be spotless and I am very organized, but I have stuff laying out all of the time. I also get out all of my shower/hair/make-up stuff out and hang my clothes in the bathroom for the following morning, right down to the q-tips and cotton balls. But, I don't do all of that stuff if we are having company, and I don't do it on Saturday night because I clean the house on Sunday morning.
He does admit it is very helpful when things come up though.

I was running late last night..
I didn't realize it had snowed and the roads were slick, so I got up at my normal time. When I went out to warm up the car, I realized I was in trouble because of the roads.
The dogs did not want to go out and do their business because of the snow so I had trouble getting them corraled.
Started to pull out of the driveway and realize my tank was empty. So had to stop.
I am not sure why everyone forgets how to drive in snow, they are either puttering along at 20 or running you over speeding. Get it together people!!!
I clocked it at 7 on the dot, but I always hate when I don't have enough time to chat and get settled in before my shift starts.
