I survived the stomach flu with my itty bitty sleeve

I contracted the stomach flu from my youngest grandchild and it hit me HARD on  Monday night.  I really wanted to die for several hours but my PCP had called in Phenergan suppositories for my daughter and she had wisely shared a couple with us... otherwise I am certain I would have ended up in the ER with dehydration.  When my fever finally broke and the vomiting ceased, I sipped water constantly for the next 4 hours and made it through.  I was really scared I might damage my sleeve but all seems to be well and I lost 3 hard-earned pounds in the process.

So, this is a post of GRATITUDE for not getting sicker than I did and being on the mend.

I had the flu recently too. It hit hard and fast and was gone in 12 hours. It went though our whole house. I'm glad I was further out from surgery or I would have been very concerned about my stomach too.

Glad you are feeling better.  I try to keep Phenergan at my house in the refrigerator - just in case we need it.
